I started running after high school, a couple of times a week and ran on and off for a number of years, mainly to get fit. I had my son when I was 31 and after that, running became so much more than just something I did to get fit. It was my ‘me time’ and I loved how I felt after every run. I started wanting to run longer distances – half marathons, then marathons and it’s gone on from there, moving into ultra running. I’m intrigued and always amazed at what our bodies are capable of and continue to push and challenge myself with going further. Running is an integral part of my life and I love sharing this with others.
