COVID-19 – UPDATE 23/03/20 @10AM
We are going to take care of you, no matter what!
Hi Ladies,
At times like this, it’s essential we stay connected and try to keep as much normality as we can.
It’s more important than ever to stay active, as much, if not more for our mental health as well as our physical health.
We’re keeping on running
Because our programs are outdoors, we’re keeping this term going.
Keeping you safe
We haven’t taken this decision lightly and are closely monitoring and acting on advice as the Government and NSW Health Releases.
New measures have been introduced to make sure you and our community is safe.
I am personally making sure that our Run Leaders are informed of the latest developments and processes to ensure your safety, as well as their own.
What you need to do
1. Wash your hands before each run
The simplest, most practical advice to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to be vigilant about washing our hands {for at least 20 seconds} with soap. And where soap is not available to use hand sanitiser
2. Keep the 1.5 metre rule when we run
The latest advice is to keep 1.5 metre social distancing at all time. Our Run Leaders will help you with this.
Your Run Leader will likely take a picture of your group running like this, let them know if you prefer not to be in it.
3. No contact – Virtual high fives only
Cheer each other on in the Facebook Group or your WhatsApp Group, and during your run but no more celebratory high fives.
4. Don’t turn up if you feel unwell
This is essential. If you have any cold symptoms {such as fever, runny nose, sore throats} please don’t attend your group.
Let your Run Leader know and please follow the follow the NSW department of health guidelines which can be found here:

We’re doing our best to keep you and Run Leaders safe
We understand we’re living in unprecedented times. Everyone is adjusting to their new normal.
And we’re here for you.
